DOQQ

http://lacoast.gov/maps/2005doqq/

DOQQ are aerial photographs or satellite imagery that are digital. Each quarter covers one of a quadrangle. They are corrected to line up with longitude and latitude lines. This is done due to the relief and the camera angle.  This map is an example of DOQQ imagery of Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and Rita in 2005. This map is provided by USGS and was used to show the damage and to gain more assistance in hurricane recovery.
